日本に在住中、あるいは観光で滞在中の外国人のうち、約7割が日本の医療に対して何らかの不安を抱えていると言われています。とくに言語の壁により、医師の説明が十分に伝わらないことがあるほか、薬の副作用や医療費に関する懸念も少なくありません。さらに、救急病院を除く多くのクリニックでは、土曜日の午後や日曜日が休診であるなど、受診しづらい時間帯も存在します。このように、出身地を問わず外国人の方が安心して医療を受けられる体制の整備には、依然として多くの課題が残されています。
現在も外国人が当院を受診されていますが、2026年1月からの本格的な開始に向けて、アメリカ人のアドバイザーとともに準備を進めています。また、多くの外国人を受けているクリニックと提携します。
It is said that approximately 70% of foreigners living in Japan or visiting the country as tourists have some level of anxiety about medical care in Japan. In particular, the language barrier can make it difficult for them to fully understand what their doctor is saying, and there are also many concerns about medication side effects and medical costs. Furthermore, with the exception of emergency hospitals, many clinics are closed on Saturday afternoons and Sundays, making it difficult to visit. As such, many challenges remain in establishing a system where foreigners, regardless of their place of origin, can receive medical care with peace of mind.
Currently, foreign patients are being treated at our clinic, but we are currently working with an American advisor to prepare for a full-scale launch in January 2026. We will also partner with clinics that treat many foreign patients.
